On October 9, 2009 a post-apocalyptic, zombie horror comedy film, Zombieland, starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, is set to be released in the USA theatres. Zombieland is directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The movie is distributed by Columbia Pictures.

The American nation has become a nation of zombies because of a new kind of plague. A lone band of two men and two women who survived fight their way through crowds of the living dead while crossing the country from coast to coast. They decide to stop in an amusement park, which is pretty safe at the first glance.

The two men are Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), who is a born zombie-killer, whose only dream is to get the last Twinkie on earth and Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) who’s afraid to death of being eaten by zombies, but this fear saves his life. After a while 2 women, Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) and Wichita (Emma Stone), join their crew.

After spending some time together they start to think, whta’s better: to rely on each other and fight with zombies, or become a zombie themselves.

All the heroes are named after the cities and towns that they originated from or have been rescued from.
