On August 28, 2009 a horror film, Halloween II, starring Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Scout Taylor-Compton and Danielle Harris, is released in the United States. Halloween II is directed, written, and produced by Rob Zombie. The film is a sequel to 2007 remake of Halloween (1978).

Originally Rob Zombie was not thinking about making a sequel to his first Halloween movie, as he had no energy left, as he said. But two years later, after several unsuccessful attempts to write a screenplay for the 2nd film Malek Akkad, the Weinstein brothers, and Rob Zombie, who was interested in participating in filming of the movie again, made a deal, and the director returned to work.

The main story line of Halloween 2 lies in the connection between Michael and Laurie, and the main idea is that they both have similar psychological problems.

The murder and psychopath Michael Myers (played by Tyler Mane once again) is out and free again. He returns to his home town of Haddonfield and brings death there. But one person unexpectedly steps in to put an end to Michael’s death walk.
